Every referral is recorded on our servers, from the first click to the payout. Here’s exactly how someone becomes your referral, and how each commission is earned.

    We count the click on our server and take them to the website, with your code in the address.

  2. 02 · CONSENT

    They choose cookies

    If they accept the referral cookie, the website remembers you for 60 days. If they decline, your code still carries through that visit’s download and sign-up links.

    They install the app

    The Windows installer carries your code in its file name. If they sign up from another browser, the app asks them to confirm crediting you.

    The referral locks

    When they create their account, it’s permanently linked to you. If they clicked more than one link, the last click before sign-up counts.

    Their first Pro payment opens a 12-month window. Every payment inside it earns you 25%, even if they upgrade months after signing up.

WHY WE HOLD PAYMENTS

Your hold gets shorter
as you build trust.

A card payment can be disputed with the bank for up to about 120 days. We hold each commission until that risk has passed, so a payout is never taken back from you. As you build a clean history with us, we hold for less.

Disputes arrive late

Customers can dispute a card payment with their bank for months. Most disputes come weeks after the charge, long after a refund would have been asked for.

Every dispute costs twice

We lose the payment and pay a dispute fee on top. Paying commission on that money would mean asking you to return it later.

It keeps the program open

Holding money protects the program from stolen-card fraud, which is what lets us keep paying 25% for a whole year to everyone.

One referral, one affiliate, for good.

A referral locks when the account is created. Existing accounts can’t be claimed later.

Refunds and chargebacks come off.

During the hold they reduce the pending commission. After release, they’re deducted from your balance.

No self-referrals or brand bidding.

Referring yourself or a second account, bidding on our brand in paid search, and coupon or cashback sites aren’t allowed. Suspicious referrals are reviewed before anything is paid.

Privacy first.

The referral cookie needs consent, IP addresses are only stored as keyed hashes, and your referrals appear as numbered labels, never by name or email.

Do I need a Pro subscription to earn?

No. Every account, including Free, has its own link and earns the same 25%.

What counts as a payment?

Every Pro payment your referral makes in the 12 months after their first one: first purchase, monthly renewals and resubscriptions. Commission is 25% of what they actually paid, excluding taxes and after any discount.

What if my referral cancels and comes back?

You keep earning. Any payment inside their 12-month window counts, even after a break. Payments after the window ends don’t earn a commission.

Why are commissions held, and for how long?

Banks let cardholders dispute a payment for up to about 120 days. Holding each commission until that risk has passed means we never have to ask you for money back. New affiliates wait 120 days; after your first payout and 90 days with us it drops to 90 days, and after 3 payouts and 6 months it drops to 60. A dispute on one of your referrals puts you back to 120 days for 6 months.

When and how am I paid?

Monthly, by PayPal or Wise, once your released balance reaches $100 and you’ve added your payout account and tax details. Until then your balance stays in your account, and you can follow it in your dashboard or the desktop app. Each payout comes with a commission statement for your records.

What if someone declines cookies?

Your code stays in that visit’s download and sign-up links, so a sign-up in the same visit still counts. The Windows installer carries your code too. The 60-day memory only applies when they accept the referral cookie.
